Hi there, It’s not easy to create content at a level of quality you can truly be proud of. Been there. Done that. And sometimes, I’m still doing that. Lately, I find myself in situations where I feel the pressure of content burnout. And it’s not just me. Most marketers around me are burnt out because they have to do it all - create the strategy for their content, produce the content, optimize it, distribute it, improve it - and it feels like a never-ending rollercoaster. But as I write this newsletter, I realize something: sometimes, we just need to stop.
We need to pause and look at our work. Guess what? You’ve done the work. Take a moment to look at it. Be proud of yourself. Be proud of your team. Go ahead, do a little mind dance celebration. Great. Now let it sit there and watch how people respond to it. Don’t overwhelm your creativity. Don’t rush to publish one piece of content only to immediately jump to the next. You’re not a robot. You’re a person who also has a life to live. There will be days when you feel the weight of content burnout. When that happens, make sure you take care of yourself—and your content. How?
